WELCOME TO THE SUPPORT SITE FOR THE iPHONE GAME "SHAFT 2009" The game SHAFT 2009 is based on shareware software originally written for the Commodore Amiga platform in 1991, with a few extra bells and whistles for the iPhone. It is available for purchase via the iPhone App Store. How to play SHAFT is the electronic equivalent of the sliding-block puzzle which has been around for decades. On first loading, the blocks will be plain grey, each with a black window at the centre: ![]() Move the blocks by using your finger to slide a neighbouring block into the blank space. When a block is moved into its correct place, the black window will turn to red: ![]() The aim of the game is to slide all of the blocks into their correct place, turning all windows to red. How to use your own pictures If all you could do was slide grey blocks around then that would be pretty boring. Hit ![]() When the 8 blocks are all in their correct position a 9th block will appear to complete the picture. Note that when using your own picture, there is no indication as to when individual blocks are in the correct place. You can switch back to the standard blocks at any time by selecting Continuing a game When you close down the game, the current image, block positions and timer value will be stored ready for when the game is reopened. Starting a new game You can start a new game without finishing the current one by hitting High score The fastest time to complete the game is stored under the High Score timer. This can be reset to 00' 00 at any time by hitting Upgrades Anyone buying the game is entitled to free upgrades for the lifetime of Shaft 2009.Help!
